Rafa Guijosa

Rafa Guijosa is an accomplished sports professional with extensive experience in handball coaching and management. Currently serving as Head Coach and Technical Director at IRIHF since October 2024, Rafa also holds the position of Manager Deportivo at Club Deportivo Iplacea Balonmano. With a long-standing association with the International Handball Federation as an IHF Lecturer and the European Handball Federation as an EHF Master Coach, Rafa contributes to the sport at an international level. In addition, Rafa has been a professor with the Real Federación Española de Balonmano since June 2014. Previous roles include Director Deportivo at Club Balonmano Aguilas BMA, consultant at Guijosa Servisport, and a series of coaching positions including Head Coach at ALARABI SPORTS CLUB and Club Balonmano Ademar León. Rafa's educational background includes a Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Actividad Fisica y del Deporte from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and studies in Magisterio at Universidad de Alcalá.
