Charles Brasseur

Charles Brasseur is an experienced professional in international relations and development, currently serving as Program Manager at International IDEA since June 2022. Previously, Charles worked at the European Commission as Geographic Coordinator for Zimbabwe, managing country development portfolios and cooperation programs from January 2017 to February 2022. Prior roles include various positions within the European External Action Service and the European Commission focusing on EU-Africa relations, policy work, and representation tasks. With an academic background featuring Master's degrees from the College of Europe and Sciences Po, alongside an exchange year at the University of Washington, Charles has developed expertise in European affairs and international diplomacy.
