Edwin Chemoiywo

Edwin Chemoiywo is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Country Manager for the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction since April 2022, where responsibilities include managing and growing country programs while ensuring quality programming for vulnerable communities. Prior to this role, Edwin held positions including Programs Coordination Officer with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, where coordination of civic and political participation programs for women and youth was a key focus, and Programs Advisor at Concern South Sudan, providing strategic direction and developing funding strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as an Organizational Development Specialist at Winrock International, empowering youth in western Kenya to access credit and establish enterprises, and as County Coordinator for DOT Kenya, leading a team to deliver entrepreneurship and ICT training to rural youth. Edwin holds a Bachelor of Education in Science from Egerton University and is currently pursuing an MSc in Development Studies at Moi University.
