Luca Costa

Luca Costa is an experienced executive in the field of welding and education, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the International Institute of Welding since January 2020. Prior to this role, Luca held significant positions at the Gruppo Istituto Italiano della Saldatura, including Direttore from February 2000 to December 2019, and was responsible for education and QSE courses at the Istituto italiano della saldatura from January 2000 to 2013. Luca holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova (1992-1998) and an IWE degree from the IIS (Italian Institute of Welding).
