Srinivasan R. Iyer

Srinivasan Iyer currently serves as Vice President at the International Institute of Welding since July 2023 and has been a Board Director representing India and the SAARC countries at the Indian Institute of Welding since April 2009. Notably, Srinivasan held the position of President of the Indian Institute of Welding from 2014 to 2016 and was re-elected for the following year. As Chief Executive of CONTECH SERVICES since April 1995, Srinivasan has led initiatives in preparing total quality manuals and facilitating U and R stamp certifications for industries. With over 35 years of expertise in welding consultancy and training, Srinivasan previously managed welding products as Regional Manager at Esab India Limited from 1993 to 1995. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc, AMIE Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and credentials as an International Welding Engineer.
