Paul MacDaragh Ryan

Paul MacDaragh Ryan is a dedicated paediatrics resident in the MD/PhD stream at the University of Toronto, currently in the third year of training at The Hospital for Sick Children. Since June 2021, Paul has been involved in clinical care, education, and scientific investigation in pediatrics. Paul contributes as a Deputy Editor and Editorial Board Member for the International Journal of Medical Students, promoting research dissemination among medical students. Previous roles include National Representative for Ireland for the European MD/PhD Association and Fellow at Evidence Synthesis Ireland, focusing on systematic reviews related to diabetes management. The academic background includes a PhD in Microbiology and a medical degree from University College Cork, complemented by various clinical and research clerkships internationally.
