Marc Mace

Marc Mace has worked as the Director of Data Science at International Justice Mission since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the United States Department of Defense starting in 2011, where they held roles as a Data Scientist. In this position, they worked as the Lead Data Scientist for Security Operations Center and also served as the Technical Director for the Data Science Development Program. During this time, Marc mentored over 50 program members and provided technical guidance on tools, algorithms, and architectures. Marc also played a role in evaluating data science proposals and collaborating on successful strategies.

Marc Mace obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Abilene Christian University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Marc also holds additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate from Microsoft, obtained in May 2022, and Splunk Certified User from Splunk, obtained in 2018.
