Thijs Wijnheijmer

Thijs Wijnheijmer is a Machine Learning Intern at GOAL 3, beginning January 2024, and a Co-Founder of PAVA since October 2023, focusing on using Wifi-Sensing technology to enhance healthcare insights in nursing homes. Wijnheijmer has served as an IKO Certified Kitesurf Instructor and freelanced for various kitesurfing schools since August 2022. Previously, Wijnheijmer was a drummer with Funky Monkeys Delft from November 2018 to November 2023 and worked as a Teaching Assistant for machine learning and data mining courses at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2023. Additional experience includes coordinating tutoring at DeBijlesStudent B.V. and instructing sailing and watersports from 2016 to 2019. Wijnheijmer is currently pursuing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, building on a Bachelor's in Industrial Design Engineering from TU Delft, and has minors in Machine Learning and Programming from the University of Amsterdam.
