Joshua Asel

Joshua Asel serves as the Global Editor and Manager of the Global Parks Network at GLOBAL CONSERVATION since May 2023. As the Founder and Projects Director of the Wildlife Conservation Fellowship, active since January 2021, Joshua is involved in developing conservation initiatives. Additional roles include Emerging League Photographer for the International League of Conservation Photographers, Director At Large for The Bird Rescue Center, and Contributing Photographer for multiple organizations such as Wildscreen and Hakai Magazine. Joshua also contributes to Defenders of Wildlife and serves as an Ethics Committee Advisor for NANPA, focusing on ethical issues in nature photography. Previously, Joshua founded Wild Expectations Environmental Conservation, where a team was directed to document wildlife and engage with conservation organizations from 2013 to 2020.
