Boniface Okwir

Boniface Okwir is a skilled Water and Sanitation Engineer currently working at the International Lifeline Fund, where responsibilities include the design and construction of solar piped water supply systems, hydrological surveys, borehole drilling supervision, and stakeholder engagement. Prior experience encompasses roles as a Water Engineer at Innovation: Africa, focusing on solar-water supply projects, and as a WASH Engineer at PACHEDO-Uganda Chapter, where Boniface managed water and sanitation facilities and trained over 200 youths in hand pump repair. Additional expertise includes serving as a Water Exploration Consultant for International Medical Corps, aiming to enhance borehole drilling success, and supervising road maintenance for the Uganda National Roads Authority. Boniface holds a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Biosystems Engineering with a focus on Hydrology and Water Engineering.
