Cameron McLoughlin

Cameron McLoughlin is an experienced economist currently employed at the International Monetary Fund since June 2021. Prior to this role, Cameron served as Assistant Director at the Commonwealth Treasury from June 2019 to June 2021 and held various economist positions at the International Monetary Fund from February 2014 to March 2019, and as a research economist at Banque de France from July 2011 to February 2014. Cameron began a career in economics with a summer internship at the International Monetary Fund in July 2010. Cameron holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, obtained between 2007 and 2011.
