Saron Araya

Saron Araya currently serves as a Research Scholar at the International Myeloma Foundation and a Career Mentor for Oglethorpe University. Prior experience includes working as a Bone Marrow Tech at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where responsibilities involved collecting and preparing specimens for diagnostic assays, and as an Anatomical Pathology Histotechnologist I at Bako Diagnostics, focusing on biopsy examinations. Saron also held roles as a Molecular Lab Technician, Registration Associate, and Supplemental Advanced Functions Instructor, demonstrating a strong foundation in biology, patient care, and education. Additionally, Saron has experience in public health and biomedical research, with an educational background that includes a Doctor's Degree in Osteopathic Medicine/Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Public Health from Oglethorpe University.
