Clifford (Dale) Lamar II is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and global cellulose fibers at International Paper, serving in roles from Counsel to Senior Counsel since August 2017. Prior legal experience includes positions as an Attorney at Butler Snow LLP and an Associate at McDermott Will and Emery. Early in the career, Clifford held internships at the US Attorney's Office MDNC, as well as summer associate positions at McDermott Will & Emery, Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, and Bradley Arant Rose & White LLP. An academic background includes a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, an M.S. in Molecular Physiology & Biophysics from Vanderbilt University, and a B.S. in Biotechnology from Rochester Institute of Technology. Prior to law, Clifford gained scientific experience as a Graduate Student at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and as a Chemist Intern at Buckman.
