Disha Sarkar

Disha Sarkar currently serves as an ACE Youth Exchange International Delegate at UN Climate Change and has held multiple roles related to youth engagement in climate action, including Delegate for the Global Youth Development Institute and Organizer for the Asia Pacific Climate Week Side Event. Disha is a Contact Point for the ACE Working Group with YOUNGO and has contributed as a Resource Expert for UNESCO, addressing youth empowerment in climate initiatives. Additionally, Disha represents UNICEF South Asia at COP26 and participates as a Youth Delegate with UNDP, while also acting as a Guest Speaker for the International Peace Institute. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Political Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Cotton University.
