Cathrine Schweikardt

Director Communications at International Rescue Committee

Cathrine Schweikardt is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate communication, reputation management, and public affairs. Currently serving as Director of Communications at the International Rescue Committee since June 2018, Cathrine previously held the position of Associate Director of Communications within the same organization. Prior experience includes leading communications and marketing efforts at Reformationsjubiläum 2017 e.V. and providing corporate communication consulting at MSLGROUP Germany, where a comprehensive career journey spanned from intern to senior consultant. Additional roles have included editorial work at D+C Development and Cooperation and project management for various initiatives focused on sustainable development. Cathrine holds a Magistra Artium in Politics, Linguistics, and Psychology from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Master of Arts in African Studies from Dalarna University.
