Irene Spyrelli

Irene Spyrelli is a professional specializing in education and livelihoods programs, currently serving as the INEE Country Focal Point for Greece at the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies since March 2024. With extensive experience at the International Rescue Committee, Irene has held several leadership positions, including Livelihoods Senior Manager, where responsibilities encompassed the design and management of economic recovery projects. Previous roles include Field Coordinator for ELIX, and for SOS Children's Villages Greece, focusing on refugee education and psychosocial support. Irene holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Education in Emergencies from the University of Geneva and is pursuing an Executive Diploma in Leadership and Human Resources Management. Additional qualifications include a Master of Education in Special Education, a Master of Science in Cultural Informatics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Greek Language and Literature.
