Mohammad Irfan serves as a Senior Immigration Legal Assistant at the International Rescue Committee since December 2021. Before this role, Mohammad founded and acted as the Director of the Afghan Public Awareness Center from January 2014 to December 2021. Additionally, experience includes positions as a Senior Communication, Legal Drafting, and Administrative Officer and Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, as well as a Legal Advisor at AIMAL CHAMP Construction Company. Prior roles include serving as an Operational Specialist for the Afghanistan Cricket Board and a Cultural Advisor and professional translator/interpreter for US Army, NATO, and ISAF. Academically, Mohammad holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Estiqlal University and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the American University of Afghanistan, currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations at Kabul University and studying English at Boise State University.
