Rakesh Raghunathan

Rakesh Raghunathan is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the fields of food science and biotechnology. Currently serving as a National Consultant at the International Rice Research Institute since May 2023, Rakesh has previously held positions such as Senior Research Officer at A*STAR from June 2022 to January 2023, and Project Associate at the International Rice Research Institute from November 2021 to May 2022, as well as at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) from January 2021 to October 2021. Rakesh holds a Master’s degree in Food Science from Memorial University, attained between March 2014 and May 2017; a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from The University of Manchester, completed from September 2010 to November 2011; and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy (SASTRA) from June 2006 to May 2010.
