Stephen Klassen is a Senior Scientist at the International Rice Research Institute with extensive experience in digital agriculture, precision farming, and phenotyping. Stephen has expertise in drone-based high throughput phenotyping, crop monitoring, and drought physiology. Prior to their current role, Stephen worked as an Environmental Contaminants Wildlife Biologist at the US Fish and Wildlife Service and as a Senior Research Associate in Crop Physiology at Utah State University. Stephen holds an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Utah.
