Ann Hickman

Ann Hickman, CPCU, CRIS has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Ann began their career as an Instructor at Miami University from August 1990 to May 1993. In 1994, they joined the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI) as a Sr. Research Analyst and worked in that role until May 2016. During their time at IRMI, they held various positions including Editorial Director from May 2016 to December 2020, Assistant Vice President from January 2021 to January 2024, and currently serves as the Vice President.

Ann Hickman, CPCU, CRIS, completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Insurance at Eastern Kentucky University from 1982 to 1986. Ann then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Ann obtained certifications including CPCU from The Institutes in 2020 and CRIS from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI) at an unspecified date.
