Sara Lulo

Sara Lulo has extensive work experience in various leadership and advisory roles. Sara is currently serving as the Executive Director of the International Senior Lawyers Project (ISLP) since October 2019. Prior to this, Sara worked at Yale Law School, where they held the position of Assistant Dean from September 2015 to October 2019. Sara also served as the Director of International Programs and Director of the Gruber Program for Global Justice and Women's Rights from March 2012 to September 2015.

In addition to their role at Yale Law School, Sara was a member of the Board of Directors at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, Inc. from June 2015 to October 2019. Sara also served on the Board of Directors at Junta for Progressive Action from August 2013 to September 2019.

Before their time at Yale, Sara held various positions at different organizations. Sara was a Board member at the Southern Africa Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR) from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, Sara worked as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School from 2010 to March 2012. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of the Avon Global Center for Women and Justice from August 2009 to February 2012.

Sara's early work experience includes working as an Associate at White & Case LLP from October 2002 to March 2009. In this role, they specialized in international commercial arbitration and investment arbitration, working in both the New York and London offices. Sara also served on secondment to the Ministry of Justice of Georgia in Tbilisi, Georgia during their time at White & Case LLP.
