Kai Amberla serves as the Executive Director of Finland Festivals since January 2007 and has held a position on the Board of Directors at the International Society for the Performing Arts since January 2019. Board membership at the European Festivals Association spans from November 2021 to May 2024. Previous leadership roles include Chairman of the Board at Concert Centre Finland and Executive Director at both the Finnish Music Information Centre and the Association of Finnish Symphony Orchestras. Additionally, Kai Amberla has experience as Editor in Chief of Finnish Music Quarterly and Rondo Music Magazine. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in World Literature and Musicology from Turku University and a degree in Classical Guitar from Turku Music Academy.
