Mike Ruggieri

Mike Ruggieri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both the tourism and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Guest Speaker at American Cruise Lines since July 2023, Mike enhances the guest experience through educational presentations and discussions. Since 2013, Mike has also worked as a Tour Director and Tour Guide for various companies, specializing in student tours across Washington D.C. and the East Coast, and leading over-the-road tours in the National Parks of the Western United States. As an Instructor at the International Tour Management Institute since February 2017, Mike shares expertise in tour management. Prior roles include Project Manager at Mapcom Systems and Solutions Architect at Motorola Solutions, where Mike focused on public safety applications. Mike's technical career began as a Systems Analyst and Software Engineer at several companies, including Dominion Virginia Power and Cisco Systems, following a BS in Computer Science from Stony Brook University.
