Heather Steinmeyer

Heather Steinmeyer has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Heather is currently serving as the Chief Policy Officer at the International Trademark Association (INTA) since 2023. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2023, they held the position of Vice President & Counsel at Elevance Health. Before joining Elevance Health, Heather worked at Anthem, Inc. for eleven years, starting in 2008 as the Managing Senior Associate General Counsel until 2019. Heather also served as the Past President of the International Trademark Association in 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Brand Counsel at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association from 1999 to 2008. Heather began their professional journey as an Associate at Keck, Mahin & Cate in 1990 before becoming a Partner at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd (now K&L Gates) from 1996 to 1999.
