Wegayehu Asfaw

Wegayehu Asfaw is a seasoned researcher and academic with extensive experience in the field of water resources. Currently serving as a researcher at GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences since November 2023, Wegayehu also holds the position of lecturer and assistant lecturer at Arba Minch University, a role maintained since August 2015. In addition, since April 2019, Wegayehu has been contributing as a research fellow at the International Water Management Institute. Wegayehu holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Water Resources Engineering, earned between 2016 and 2019 at Arba Minch University, and a Bachelor of Science in Hydraulic and Water Resource Engineering, obtained from the same institution from 2010 to 2015.
