Marjo Mercado

Marjo Mercado is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in information and data security, currently serving as the VP of Global Information & Data Security at Internet Brands since February 2013, after holding multiple leadership roles within the company. Prior roles include SW Development Manager at Knewton, Inc., Ubuntu QA Team Manager at Canonical, and VP of Engineering at Xceedium. Additionally, Marjo held engineering management positions at Trend Micro and Turbolinux, and contributed as an R&D Project Manager and Software Development Engineer at Hewlett Packard. Marjo began the career as a Research Engineer at SRI International. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.S. in Computer Science Engineering from San Jose State University, and a B.S. in EECS from the University of California, Berkeley.
