Erica Feldkamp is the Vice President for Information Technology and Security for Internews. In this role Erica oversees Grants and Contracts management, Information Technology and US Facilities. She has a lead role in recommending and overseeing the implementation of business management systems, as well as administering corporate information management systems, information security, and project management strategic software upgrades and rollouts.
Erica has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Louisville. She attended Humboldt State University for a graduate program in geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing, and holds several technical certifications. It was during her course of study at Humboldt State that she developed an affinity for designing information access and management systems. Prior to joining Internews in 2004, she worked as a field biologist, cartographer, and GIS analyst for state and federal agencies and in the private sector.
