Boaz Kurtis, MD has held a variety of roles in the medical field since 2003. Boaz began their career as a Research Fellow in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Boaz then moved to St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital where they worked as a Medical Intern in the Department of Medicine. In 2005, they became a Resident in the Department of Pathology at Lenox Hill Hospital. In 2006, they worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. In 2007, they became a Clinical Account Specialist at Biosense Webster, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson Company. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Resident and Chief Resident in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Westchester Medical Center. In 2016, they became a Staff Pathologist and Laboratory & Medical Director at Cancer Genetics, Inc. In 2018, they were appointed Vice President of Molecular Pathology at Interpace Biosciences. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Intersect Diagnostics, Inc.
Boaz Kurtis, MD received their M.D. from Tel Aviv University and their B.A. in History from the University of Maryland.
