Nwokoro Nkemakolam has worked in the IT and telecoms industry since 2011. In 2011, Nwokoro began working as a Project Engineer at Quantum Basic Nigeria Limited, where they were responsible for supervising project tasks involved in the rollout and installation/commissioning/integration of telecommunication equipment. In 2013, Nwokoro moved to Anchor Telecoms Nigeria Limited, where they took on a similar role. In 2015, Nwokoro joined Authority Media and Publication Limited as an IT Specialist, where they maintained, troubleshot and administered the use of local area Network (LANS), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Mainframe Networks, Computer Workstations, Connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment. In 2019, Nwokoro became a Senior Python Developer at iNterra Networks, where they played a leading role in developing and managing the growth of enterprise applications for private and public sector customers.

Nwokoro Nkemakolam has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madonna University, Elele Campus, Rivers State, obtained from 2004 to 2009. Prior to this, Nwokoro obtained a West African Examination Council from Nigerian Navy Secondary Abeokuta from 1998 to 2004, with a focus in Sciences. Additionally, Nwokoro has obtained a Redislab RU101 Certificate from Redis Labs in July 2020, and has certifications from Alcatel-Lucent and Cisco as a Network Routing Specialist 1 (IP/MPLS) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate, respectively.
