Joe Smazal is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in the multifamily market in Chicago. As Senior Managing Partner at Interra Realty LLC since January 2014, Joe has played a pivotal role in transforming the firm into a leading player in middle market multifamily sales while continually seeking innovative solutions for client and broker success. In addition, Joe co-owns and manages Smaz Apartments, focusing on acquiring and improving properties in desirable neighborhoods of Chicago. Prior to these roles, Joe began their career at Marcus & Millichap as an Associate, where a strong emphasis on training and mentorship facilitated professional development. Joe’s early career included a position as a National Sales Representative at Kreg Therapeutics, working directly with top management. Joe holds a BBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa.
