Paul Vercruyssen

Paul Vercruyssen has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry and legal sector. Paul currently serves as the Vice President of Project Finance and Strategic Transactions at Intersect Power since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Legal - US Project Development at Trina Solar from December 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Corporate Counsel at Cypress Creek Renewables from September 2017 to December 2020. Paul also worked as the Assistant Deputy General Counsel at Hannon Armstrong from May 2015 to September 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati from November 2011 to May 2015. Paul had previously worked as a Summer Associate at the same firm in June 2010. Paul also gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at Solar Millennium, LLC from June 2009 to September 2009. Their early career included roles as a Policy Analyst at Clean Power Campaign and as a Project Siting Coordinator at the Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies.

Paul Vercruyssen completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Washington School of Law from 2008 to 2011.
