Kurt Melcher

Kurt Melcher serves as a Senior Industry Consultant at VGIQ Video Game Industry Consultancy since 2022, advising gaming and entertainment companies on business strategies, growth marketing, and community management. As a Board Member of the Riot Scholastic Association of America and Voice of Intercollegiate Esports, Kurt promotes student well-being and the development of esports in educational settings. Additionally, Kurt is an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University, teaching a graduate-level course on the business aspects of gaming and esports. Previously, Kurt held senior roles at Intersport, where significant contributions were made to the Gaming & Esports business vertical, and founded the world's first varsity-level esports program at Robert Morris University. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Chicago.
