Babatunde Okufi

Babatunde Okufi started their career in 2003 as an intern in the Technology Unit of Task Systems Limited. Babatunde then worked as an intern in the Technology Unit of General Telecom Plc for six months. In 2005, they joined Guaranty Trust Bank as a Transaction Officer in the e-Business and Card Services Group, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at Phillips Consulting Limited as an Analyst in the Information Systems and e-Business Group, where they carried out consulting engagements and developed e-learning courses. In 2008, they joined Interswitch Group as an Officer in the Consulting and Advisory Services, Professional Services Group, before being promoted to the role of Senior Officer in the Client Value & Product Management group. Babatunde then progressed to the roles of Lead in Business Development, Project Management, and Product Management, and Head of Solution & Service Sales in the Transaction Switching & Processing Group. Babatunde's most recent role at Interswitch Group was Group Head of Business Development in the Purepay Division, where they spearheaded the growth and expansion of the switching and processing business.

Babatunde Okufi has a diverse education history spanning multiple disciplines. In 1991, they completed their secondary education at Saint Gregory's College, where they obtained their SSCE qualification with a focus on science. Following this, from 1999 to 2004, Babatunde attended Lagos State University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering.

In 2014, Babatunde furthered their study in business administration and management by completing the Senior Management Program at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. Throughout their education, Babatunde also acquired various certifications to enhance their professional skills and expertise.
