Michael Okwe

Michael Okwe has a solid background in Information System Control and Security. Michael is currently working at Interswitch Group as the Team Lead for Information System Control. Prior to this, they worked at Zenith Bank Plc and FirstBank Nigeria as an Application and Database Security Professional. In these roles, they conducted security reviews and assessments on newly developed applications and databases, as well as performed Penetration Testing. Michael also worked at Fidelity Bank PLC as an Information Technology Control Officer, where they were responsible for reviewing IT activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, they have experience as the Head of E-banking at HASAL Microfinance Bank LTD, overseeing all e-business activities. Overall, Michael Okwe has extensive experience in information security and technology control.

Michael Okwe completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Benue State University from 2003 to 2008. Michael then pursued a Masters in Information Technology from the University of Lagos, completing it from 2016 to 2019.
