Roqib Akinyemi

Roqib Akinyemi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Roqib currently works as an IT Service Management Analyst at Interswitch Group since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at FirstBank Nigeria as an Incident and Problem Analyst from January 2020 to October 2022. Roqib also gained experience at Polaris Bank Ltd. as an Application Support Analyst from August 2019 to January 2020 and as a Core Banking Application Support from September 2018 to January 2020. Additionally, they worked at Skye Bank Plc as a Banking Application Support where they managed the bank's financial applications, resolved transaction issues, and provided operational support in August and September 2018. From August 2012 to August 2018, they worked at Access Bank Plc as a Team Member in IT Customer Service Management. Prior to that, they worked at Computer Warehouse Group Plc as an Incident Engineer from April 2011 to March 2012. Roqib'searliest work experience was at First Admin Computer Technologies as a Computer Engineer/Tutor from August 2007 to September 2008, where they performed general computer maintenance, repaired computer systems, and taught computer repair to students.

Roqib Akinyemi has an extensive educational background in the field of Computer Science. Roqib started their academic journey by completing their SSCE (School Cert) from Ansar-Ud-Deen High School, Liberty Road, Oke Ado, Ibadan, between 1996 and 2002. Building upon this foundation, they pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Osun State, from 2004 to 2010.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, Roqib then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Crescent University Abeokuta, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Continuing their education, they recently completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from Lead City University in 2021.

Alongside their formal education, Roqib has acquired additional certifications to broaden their expertise. Roqib obtained certifications in Cloud Intro and Coding Intro from IBM in December 2020. Additionally, in October 2016, they obtained a certification in SQL Fundamental 1 from Oracle.
