Silas Opawoye

Silas Opawoye has work experience as a Data Engineer at Interswitch Group starting from April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Nucleate from September 2021 to March 2022. Silas also served as the Vice President of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE), Unilorin Student Body, from October 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, they had internships at Shell as a Project Engineering Intern from September 2019 to December 2019, and at Melios Ltd as an Engineering Intern from October 2018 to November 2018. During these internships, they gained experience in procurement, assembly, and installation of natural gas customer stations, as well as risk assessment and analysis using BowTieXP software for the Total AKPO FPSO Project.

Silas Opawoye obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ilorin. Silas attended the university from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Silas has also obtained several certifications. These include the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2022, the Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022, and the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com in May 2022. It is worth noting that Silas has reportedly obtained certifications in Health, Safety, and Environment: Levels 1 - 3 from the World Safety Organization, although specific details regarding the month and year of obtaining these certifications were not provided.
