Sonia Atuchukwu

Sonia Atuchukwu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sonia currently works as a Technical Support/Site Reliability Engineer at Interswitch Group, where they monitor and troubleshoots daily transactions and network connections for banks and other financial institutions. Sonia is responsible for documenting actions taken to fix issues and communicating with clients. Prior to this, Sonia worked at Tek Experts as a Technical Support Engineer Level 2, where they resolved escalated technical issues related to Windows 10 and Office 365. Sonia also served as a Technical Trainer, providing training on troubleshooting and resolution steps. At Sterling Bank Plc, Sonia worked as a Client Engagement & Digital Banking Division Executive, responsible for escalating and resolving customer complaints. Sonia also worked at First City Monument Bank Limited as a Corporate Banking/Customer Advisory Officer, promoting MSME products and managing customer relationships. In addition, Sonia has experience as a Strategic Business Developer/Client Interaction Officer at Endy Metrics Consult.

Sonia Atuchukwu obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology between 2009 and 2014. Sonia then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration - Enabling E-commerce at Nexford University from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Sonia has obtained several certifications. In August 2020, they received the Microsoft Azure Fundamental (AZ 900) certification from Microsoft. Sonia also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma, including the Yellow Belt certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in June 2021 and the White Belt certification from the Management & Strategy Institute in May 2020. Furthermore, Sonia has certifications in project management essentials from the Management & Strategy Institute, Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate, and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate, all obtained in 2020. Most recently, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2021 and the Technical Support Fundamental certification from Google in October 2021.
