David Nelson

David Nelson has over two decades of experience in sales engineering and management within the public sector, currently serving as the Manager of the Public Sector Sales Engineering Team at InterSystems since April 2000. In this role, David oversees all sales engineering activities related to various government agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Defense Health Agency. Previously, David held positions such as Team Lead and Senior Sales Engineer within InterSystems' Federal Sales Team. David's military background includes serving as a Major in the United States Army Reserve and various leadership roles in the US Army, where responsibilities encompassed technology management and explosive ordnance disposal support across multiple regions. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Med/Biology from Monmouth University.
