Andrew Wood

Andrew Wood is an experienced lead technician with a strong background in corrosion testing, mechanical testing of gas turbine engine components, and metallographic sample preparation. Currently employed at Intertek since May 2013, Andrew specializes in HSE IOSH, B117 and ISO 9227 corrosion testing, and environmental assessments. Previous positions include mechanical testing lab technician at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery, where Andrew conducted various mechanical tests on critical engine parts, and lab technician roles at Symmetry Medical, Firth Rixson, and Sermatech, focusing on sample preparation for aerospace and medical industries. Andrew's educational background includes attendance at Tibshelf Comprehensive from 1983 to 1988.
