Ivaylo Popov

Ivaylo Popov has extensive experience in the electrical engineering sector, currently serving as the Owner/Manager of Intertest Ltd since February 2015, where responsibilities include designing and engineering electrical switchgears, substations, and power plants, along with relay protections and SCADA systems configuration. Prior to this role, Ivaylo worked as an Electrical Engineer at TriEl Ltd. from April 2011 to February 2015, focusing on the design and commissioning of secondary connection circuits and protection setups for various substations and power stations. Ivaylo also gained valuable experience at Electric City Design from September 2009 to April 2011, working on the design of medium voltage electrical transmission lines and conducting network power flow analyses using NEPLAN software. Ivaylo holds a Master's degree in Automation and Protection of Electrical Substations and Electrical Power Plants and a Bachelor's degree from Technical University Sofia.
