Catherine Matthes

Catherine Matthes has extensive experience in the financial and healthcare sectors. Catherine began their career in 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer & Secretary for Kereos, Inc., a life science company developing targeted imaging agents and chemotherapeutics for the detection and treatment of cancer. In 2009, they became the Senior Director of New Business Development for Solae, LLC, where they were responsible for all m&a activity for major food ingredient activity and new business initiatives. Catherine also served as the CFO and Managing Member of Galera Therapeutics, a St. Louis life science company focused on developing drugs for the treatment of oral mucositis. In 2011, they became an Advisor for Confluence Life Sciences, Inc., a start-up pharmaceutical development company, and the CFO of Veniti Inc., a venture-backed medical device company. In 2018, they founded and became the Managing Member of MedFINiti LLC. In 2020, they became the CFO of CuriMeta, Inc., a health-system-affiliated, advanced real-world health data platform company, and Euphrates Vascular, a company developing a first of its kind nano-scale medical device. Catherine is currently the CFO of InterVene, Inc.

Catherine Matthes graduated from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting.
