Peter van der Noord

Peter van der Noord holds extensive experience in the field of psychiatry and healthcare management. Currently, Peter serves as a board member at Kenniscentrum Dementie op Jonge Leeftijd and as CEO of Interzorg Noord Nederland, both since 2023. Peter previously held several significant roles at Espria from April 2020 to April 2023, focusing on the governance of mental health services and quality assurance. Peter's prior experience includes serving as Director of Treatment Affairs at GGZ Drenthe from 2011 to 2021, overseeing forensic and secured psychiatry units, and as a youth psychiatrist and director at Accare from 2002 to 2011, where Peter founded the Forensic Youth and Orthopsychiatry division. Educational qualifications include a degree in medicine from the University of Groningen and specialization in psychiatry, complemented by leadership training from the Avicenna Academie voor Leiderschap.
