Raquel Dreesen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Raquel began their career in 2010 as a Server at Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants and later worked as a Server at The Italian Kitchen by Glowbal Collection and Homer St. Cafe and Bar. In 2014, they transitioned to the tech sector and joined Rise HQ, where they initially worked as a Client Support Representative, resolving customer support requests and implementing new customers on the software. Raquel then became a Technical Support Representative, handling escalated tickets and emergency situations. Raquel eventually became the Support Team Lead, managing a team of six and ensuring they provided excellent customer support.
In 2016, Raquel joined Wantoo as a Manager of Customer Success, where they focused on understanding customer needs and goals, mapping customer journeys, and nurturing long-lasting relationships to promote brand awareness. Raquel then joined Mobify as a Customer Success Manager in 2017, working with global brands to develop mobile marketing strategies and conducting strategic meetings with customers.
Raquel's next role was as the Director of Customer Success at Mintent, where they were responsible for building and maintaining a customer health scorecard and optimizing the onboarding process, resulting in reduced onboarding time. Raquel also implemented nurture campaigns to drive feature adoption.
In 2020, Raquel took on a new endeavor and became a Podcast Host at Our Silly Little Anxieties, where they and their co-hosts discuss their anxieties and hopes to help others feel less anxious.
Currently, Raquel is working at Intiveo. Raquel started in 2018 as the Enterprise Customer Success Team Lead, overseeing customer success initiatives. Raquel then served as the Manager of Customer Success and later the Senior Manager of Customer Experience and CX Operations, where they apply their expertise in improving customer experiences and operations.
Raquel Dreesen pursued their education at Simon Fraser University from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate. During their time at Simon Fraser University, their field of study was focused on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, they attended the University of Toronto where they earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts. Their field of study at the University of Toronto was History and Classical Civilizations.
