Sara Heidbreder Lcpc

Sara Heidbreder, LCPC, BC-DMT, is a seasoned professional in the field of therapeutic practices, currently serving as the Director of Healing Justice at Survivors Know. Sara co-founded the Midwest Anti-Violence Solidarity Circle, focusing on empowering and healing survivors and advocates. With extensive experience, Sara has held roles such as Internship Coordinator and Psychotherapist at InTouch and Motion, and Sexual and Relationship Violence Prevention Specialist at DePaul University. Prior positions include supervising programs at Apna Ghar, Inc., and therapeutic roles at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital and MacNeal Hospital. Sara holds a Master of Arts in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago, along with a Graduate Laban Certificate in Movement Analysis. Sara's commitment to education and advocacy is also evident from experiences in facilitating wellness programs and developing community outreach initiatives.
