Shelli Odendahl

Shelli Odendahl has extensive experience in human resources management. Shelli has worked as the VP of Human Resources at InTown Suites since 2015, where they oversee HR operations. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Human Resources at Ob Hospitalist Group from 2014 to 2015. In this role, they collaborated with senior leadership to develop HR initiatives and policies, ensured compliance with employment legislation, and provided guidance to department leaders on HR matters. Before joining Ob Hospitalist Group, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Fortiline, Inc. from 2006 to 2013. Shelli was responsible for managing the HR department, mentoring and training HR staff, designing and administering benefit packages, and handling legal issues. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist & Consultant at Paychex, where they provided HR consulting services to various clients. Shelli also worked as a Human Resources Manager at Harland Clarke from 2003 to 2005, overseeing HR programs, policies, and recruitment. Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Manager at Circuit Works Corporation from 1998 to 2003, managing HR operations and implementing strategic initiatives. Shelli started their career as an IT Staffing Professional at Staffing Technologies from 1995 to 1997, where they recruited IT professionals for contract and permanent placements. Shelli Odendahl has a strong background in HR management, with experience in various industries, including hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, and IT staffing.

Shelli Odendahl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Georgia State University from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they attended The University of Georgia from 1987 to 1990, but did not complete a degree. Shelli has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including a SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resources Management in 2015, a Human Resource Employment Law Certification from the Employers Association in combination with Ogletree Deakins in 2012, and a Professional Human Resource Certification (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2006.
