Raymundo von Bertrab

Raymundo von Bertrab's work experience begins in 2014 when they worked as a Projects Coordinator for Instituto de Pensamiento Estratégico Ágora. During this time, they collaborated on investigations of justice and security, public finances, political change, and citizen dialogue.

In 2016, Raymundo founded and directed DSMX, a company which they led for the entire year.

From 2016 to 2022, Raymundo worked as a Financial and Economic Senior Analyst at Raúl Félix y Asociados. In this role, they were responsible for forecasting and presenting economic indicators for various countries. Raymundo was named the best forecaster for Mexico twice during their time there.

Alongside their role at Raúl Félix y Asociados, Raymundo also worked as an Assistant Professor and Research Assistant at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C. from 2016 to 2021. Raymundo taught economics and assisted with research projects.

In 2018, Raymundo became a Research Associate at Mexico Business Forum. Raymundo focused on public policy regarding public finance and development promotion. Raymundo worked on proposals and papers related to expenditure reengineering, new financing mechanisms, and impact bonds.

Also in 2018, Raymundo founded Verne Ventures and took on the role of Founder & Purpose Partner. Raymundo currently holds this position.

Starting in 2019, Raymundo worked as a Professor and Consultant for Tecnológico de Monterrey. Raymundo taught and consulted in the field of education and also served as a Professor.

In 2020, Raymundo joined Pixza as the CEO. Raymundo initiated the solidification of the post-pandemic business and led the launch of various models. Under their leadership, Pixza was recertified by System B as the company with the most impact in the food and beverage sector globally.

In 2022, Raymundo joined INTRARE as the Head of Finance and Controlling. Raymundo also served as the Treasurer for the company.

Throughout their career, Raymundo has held multiple leadership roles, contributed to various research projects, and demonstrated expertise in finance and economics.

Raymundo von Bertrab's education history is as follows:

- From 2012 to 2016, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

- In 2015, they obtained a Diploma in Corruption Studies from Yale University.

- In 2016, they participated in the Berkeley International Study Program in Letters and Social Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley.

- From 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Masters degree in Finance at EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey.

- In 2019, they began studying for a MicroMaster, focusing on Data, Economics, and Social Policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This course was partially completed and is expected to conclude by 2021.

- In 2019, they also obtained a Diplomatura in Sexuality and Education for Peace from Equilatera AC.

- In 2020, they completed a Certificate program in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.

- Raymundo also completed the PowerMBA program, earning a Business Expert certificate in Business Administration from ThePower Business School.

- Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including the "FocusEconomics Analyst Forecast Award - Best Overall Forecaster - Mexico 2017" from FocusEconomics in May 2017, the "Certificate in moderation & leadership for sustained dialogue" from the Sustained Dialogue Campus Network in May 2015, and "The Path to Happiness: What Chinese Philosophy Teaches us about the Good Life" from edX in August 2020.
