Phil Tennant

Phil Tennant currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Precigen, focusing on commercial strategy and execution across US and global markets. Prior to this role, Phil held various senior positions at Astellas Pharma US, including SVP and Head of US Oncology Business Unit, as well as Global Head of Oncology Marketing. Phil’s career also includes key roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, where responsibilities encompassed Hematology Marketing and specialty care, and AstraZeneca, leading marketing efforts in Neuroscience and Respiratory therapy areas. Early in the career, Phil gained experience at Merck in sales and marketing roles related to cardiovascular therapies. Phil earned a Ba (Hons) in Politics from the University of Warwick with First Class honors.
