Scott Logan has a diverse work experience in software engineering and teaching. Scott started their career as an Auditorium Facilitator at the Schools of Eastern Carver County in 2007. Scott then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where they taught Assembly Language and Computer Science from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, they interned at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer in Test. Scott then joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer from 2014 to 2018. Scott later joined Open Robotics as a Software Engineer from 2018 until 2023. Currently, Scott is employed as a Software Engineer at Intrinsic since 2023.

Scott Logan obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from South Dakota Mines in 2012. Scott then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Computational Sciences and Robotics from the same institution, which they completed in 2014. Prior to their college education, Scott attended Chaska High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their High School diploma. In addition to their academic achievements, Scott also obtained several certifications. Scott became a Volunteer Examiner through the ARRL, the national association for Amateur Radio, in December 2010. In March 2002, they obtained their Open Water Diver certification from PADI. Lastly, they became an Amateur Extra Operator through the Federal Communications Commission in November 2009.
