Miguel Rivera has had a diverse work experience, starting as a teacher/coach at Chicago Hope Academy and later as a physical education teacher at Chicago Bulls College Prep. Miguel then served as a Student Life Counselor at The SEED School of Maryland before becoming the Director of Admissions at Bethany Christian School. Rivera served as the Founding Director of Middle School Student Affairs at The SEED School of Miami, where they oversaw 25 staff members and developed programming for character education and extracurricular activities. Miguel later became the Sr. Director of High School Student Affairs before joining Distinctive Schools as the Dean of Students. Rivera then served as the Director of Athletics & Student Experience at the Noble Network of Charter Schools before taking on their current role as Assistant Principal of Culture at Intrinsic Schools.
Miguel Rivera received a high school diploma from Northside College Prep in 2003. Miguel then received a BA in Bible/Biblical Studies from Washington Bible College in 2007. In 2014, they obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. Additionally, they obtained a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification in January 2014 and a Level IV BoysTown Consultant certification from BoysTown.
