Arshad Mian has a long history of work experience in the field of technology. arshad began working with NASA in 1986, and then founded Intrinsyx Technologies Corp in 2000, where they served as President. Intrinsyx Technologies develops critical hardware and software for NASA's International Space Station, supports software development of the lunar rover, provides operational support to ISS astronauts, and develops cyber security architecture for the Urban Air Mobility Program (drones and flying cars). In 2016, they founded Intrinsyx Environmental Corporation, a Silicon Valley start-up that utilizes phyto-technology with unique bacterial endophytes for remediation of hazardous and toxic industrial chemicals. In 2018, they founded Intrinsyx Bio, providing biological fertilizers developed from naturally occurring endophytes to enhance plant growth and crop productivity.

Arshad Mian has obtained three degrees in the field of engineering. arshad holds an MSME from The University of Texas, an MSCE from San Jose State University, and a BSME from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore.
